I have one but hardly use it since I don't drive down the Westpark Tollway to visit the ex anymore.

In all seriousness, I think it's nice to have just in case u happen to drive the belt, etc and don't have cash (or the desire to wait in line). The only 'complaint' I have is that once your account goes below (I think) $10 bucks they automatically draft another $40 to fill it. So, one trek down the WP toll with $11 bucks in your eztag account will take an extra $40 from your bank....and you may not use the tolls again for a while.

It's worthwhile if you use the toll roads a lot.

I think it's a must-have. When I was in the Army Reserves, however, I got to use the Beltway for free.

I get along just fine without one, but I don't use the toll roads much.

If you're a commuter it's a must. If you live within the Beltway, you'll never use it unless you're trying to get out of the Metroplex.

I find it very convenient since I use the toll roads often. You pay $15 one-time fee for each tag. You have to provide a credit card number because they will charge you $40 everytime your balance reaches or falls below a certain limit which by default is $10.

You can also use the EZ Tag at the Parking Cents parking lot at IAH or Hobby. No need to swipe your credit card anymore at the entrance or exit gates. It automatically charges your credit card. This feature is turned off by default so you have to activate it by logging in to HCTRA website (www.hctra.org).
