Does anyone have a good recommendation for someone to pour concrete in or around Katy? Most of the prep work has already been done, but we need someone to do the actual pouring/ finishing.

Also, you can call Koy and they will recommend a finisher. You asked for pouring...Koy pours concrete.

nope but i have been doing business with koy concrete for about 15 yrs.

koy doesnt pour concrete, they sell concrete, a laborer places/pours the concrete.

koy MAY have a finisher they would recommend but they generally dont deal with finishers directly, they deal with GC or people like myself, a turnkey contractor.

You can do what my neighbor did - go to a neighborhood near you that is building/pouring foundations. He got a grood deal because he was just adding on to his patio and they were near the neighborhood.

NOOOOOOOOOO!

UNLESS you verify the finishers you talk to ARE PAYING FOR THE CONCRETE. i have run into to many home owners who do this and the finishers use my (the contractor/builder) concrete. in other words, you go talk to a finisher to place your 10x10 patio (or what ever) and they use my concrete i am paying for without my knowing/permission. i end up paying for your 2 yards or what ever it might be, and you pay the finishers so they make money, you get a good deal, and i get screwed. if i catch something like this i would most definitely press charges for theft.

I believe my neighbor just got the name of the concrete company and contacted them directly - he gave me the name and number of the company when I said I might expand my patio. He got a good deal, but not a great deal
