Wonder what it'd look like and how tall. Probably not a super tall but I'd expect it to be at least as big as Hess Tower.

Revolve around what? One skyline?

Last time I checked, Houston had a large downtown with a large Skyline. 10 top skylines in the country.

Also, we have Uptown, At 23.6 million square feet (2,193,000 m²) of office space, the Uptown District is the 17th-largest business district in the United States, comparable in size to the downtowns of Denver, and Pittsburgh. (Wikipedia)

In addition, even the Texas Medical Center has it's own skyline.

I don't think Houston needs 4 or 6 story apartment buildings to revolve from.
Could you imagine what Houston would look like if all the cities skylines were centrally located?

So, I thought that I would create a thread highlighting new growth and developments (subdividsions, real estate, retail, et.) in the area to see where ALL of this growth is occurring and what type of infrastructure and developments are and will accomodate and satisfy the newcomers. As a result, if you guys have any news of such developments, feel free to post info here. By the way, I've just fallen love with Houston and its people from this website; y'all are extremely helpful and kind. I would love to choose Houston as a relocation city in the near future.
SB, I just wanted to say loving your thread man. Keep up the good work.

Hey guys, are you talking about NYC kinda of skyline?. Never will happen in Houston. the geography doesn't help. The only reason NYC has that high concentration of skylines is because they have no where to go! It's a small island, limited where they could build around "downtown", which is really the whole island of Manhattan. Houston is like a pond...downtown it the center of where the rock hit the water...and the ripples are it's sprawl. And it's cool...that's what makes Houston, Houston! Spawl and lack of zoning.

No. I was just saying it would really look hot if all of Houston's skylines were centrally located.
