Anyone recommend a place for patio furniture? I have a deck that gets lots of sunlight, and I dont want the stuff to blow off it (deck is on the roof). I've heard of Chair King any others or suggestions on materials to use or not use?

We've bought some from Chair King before, and ended up feeling we got gouged. The stuff we have now is from Frontgate, and it is holding up to heavy use very well. There is a place called Patio 1 on 1960 near Champions that had some pretty cool furniture also.

Home Depot, Lowes, and Wal-mart also sell patio furniture. I'd go for a heavy material like cast iron and make sure the cushions tie on well. The employees at Chair King would probably be the most helpful in helping you pick something out but they are pricey.

I went buy the Chair King and was shocked at the prices. I was hoping to get something a bit cheaper.

Overstock.com, Sam's and Costco also. Garden Ridge mostly sells cheaper stuff that may not be ideal for a roof deck. But you might look for cushions there.

You just have to be careful. If you want furniture to last, you sometimes have to pay more. We love our wicker rockers and table from Chair King. Our furn. from H.Depot was not a good buy. The paint peeled and we have to get new furniture to replace that set. Furniture that is cheaper has to be replaced a lot more often.

Chair King is crazy expensive, IMO, although they do have a great selection. Save your money and look at Home Depot or Lowes. We bought our patio furniture from Lowes about 5 years ago. They cost about 1/4 the price of a comparable Chair King set. It has sat outside on our uncovered deck and has held up extremely well. The paint on the metal parts is *slightly* faded, and the fabric seats of our lounge chairs is faded a little, but that's about it.
