I am trying to find a hobby and thought about rock climbing. Has anyone ever been to the Texas Rock Gym? How high are there climbs? Are there other climbing gyms in Houston? Where do people climb outdoors around Houston? Seems like a pretty flat place, not sure if there are areas around here or not.

Thanks in advance.

Scott

My son liked it there. Not anywhere close to do it outside.

I was there just this past Sunday for my bachelor party. Having never done anything like this before, I had a fantastic time. They had a long row of climbable walls was a variety of difficulties.

I can't say for certain how tall the walls were, but they seemed larger than other gym's climbing walls.

Great staff too, I don't think you will be disappointed.

unless something has changed there recently,
if you climb alone, you're limited to "bouldering" at lower levels, you can not go high w/o a belay (second person)
