I am a new member here and would be moving soon into Cinco Ranch SW. I have question regarding the cinco ranch residential design guidelines regarding driveways. I have seen here that driveways are all concrete, is there a possibility that i build a brick or any other material driveway.
Thanks

The applicable HOA that manages the Architectural Control Committee where the home is would probably be happy to answer your question directly and accurately. That's who I would ask, anyway.

If you're having a new house built, the builder would be able to tell you, but most likely they would not do it for you, builders will not do anything out of the ordinary, for fear that the buyer changes his(her's) mind about buying, and then be stuck with a property different from the others. Also you can check the county records for the deed restrictions for the subdivision you choose.

According to the Residential guidelines, driveways are to be "de-emphasized", so I doubt they would allow anything dramatically different from the rest of the neighborhoods

Maybe like small brick segments, but they won't let you do the entire driveway like that.

I will say that I saw a brick or partially brick driveway in the Spring Lake custom homes section of Cinco SW, but that's the ONLY place, and I can't remember if it was fully brick or not. Those homes are around a million bucks too, so maybe they get some exceptions to the rules. I would certainly ask.

Cinco Ranch SW is nice either way though. I like the rolling terrain out that way (including Seven Meadows, too).

I've seen plenty in Seven Meadows with brick driveway.

Thanks everyone. Since the home would be completed in March i still have plenty of time to ask the builder and Cinco association for any restrictions.
