anyone knows where we could leave our 1.5 year old for only a few hours on weekends (not every weekend) when me and wife wants to go somewhere like watch a movie..

we live at westheirmer @ beltway 8

well we have vietnamese families with daycare thing going on in our gated community. not legit of course. $20 a day i think. near dairy ashford and westpark tollway

You might do a google search and find legit daycares that operate on weekends. You might also get to know some neighbors who would be interested or some friends. When mine were young, a lady I worked with had no family living in Houston - her Grandkids lived out of state and she loved to be Grandma to all of our kids - and loved to babysit - anytime she was off from work - evenings and weekends. Perhaps you have someone like her where you or your wife work?

There's Itty Bitty City in Katy on Westheimer. Also Munchkin's Drop In Daycare on Lexington in Sugar Land.
