Does anyone know of any good basketball leagues for kids in the Spring or Woodlands area? We know about Legends Sports Complex, but they only practice on one day for a hour. Our child is new to this so we need practice to be more than one day. We also don't want YMCA. Any suggestion would be appreciated. Thanks!

How old is the child? My daughter plays high school basketball and played with on a Legends team over the summer. We practiced twice a week but that was a select team sponsored by Legends. I know Legends also offers private lessons.

I'd suggest looking at "Cuts the Nets". Unfortunately, it looks like their Fall beginners clinic is almost over. They may have something else coming up. They also offer private and semi-private lessons.
Cut the Nets Basketball Academy

Other than basketball camps, most teams that I'm aware aren't practicing more than once maybe twice a week. The ones that do practice more often are for more advanced players and usually in the summer so they don't conflict with school ball. Camps are usually everyday for a week and are usually offered in the summer.

I thought of something else. Is Humble to far for you? There's a basketball gym over there that offers some things you may want to look into:

look at the "training/camps" link and the "leagues" link.
