What fine Houston area establishments are y'alls favorites in town? If I've omitted any greats don't be afraid to blast me.

I try to avoid most fast food these days but when I do, I love Beck's Prime, Fuddruckers, Chick-Fil-A and the occasional Pizza Hut.

I love whataburger

I've given Taco Cabana 2 tries, both times were lousy. A 3rd time, the lady at the counter said I'd get faster service going to drive through. with a straight face. So I just left.

Picking from this short list I take Whataburger. But the tastiest food (the best burgers) is not fit for eating while driving so let's get out of the car/truck and go eat!

None of these are on the poll list ... going off list, for burgers, I'll take Mooyah burgers, that's a good burger.

Taco Cabana in recent months has switched to a lower grade meat. It is especially noticable in their fajita steak tacos. I used to like their strips of meat but now it's getting closer to Alpo. After it happened once I figured it was a fluke, but it happened again for a 2nd and 3rd time, so Taco Cabana is out. The rest of their platters sucked anyway, considering you can get some real homemade Tex-Mex just about anywhere around here.

I was so disappointed when I ordered from TC after having been gone (from San Antonio) for so long. I wasn't sure if it was because my palate had "matured" or if it really had changed. It definitely does taste like pretty low grade meat. Someone noted to me that the TC I used to go in SA was the original so not sure if that had anything to do with it.

Regarding the poll choices: Beck's Prime is fast food?
