Why does the city come by & make 2 pickups one the day before your day & the day scheduled that is just dumb on there part more work?? I think they do that to keep people from diggin through the trash. Also what is up with the rotating month one month it is tree branches next month it is heavy trash this idea is reall dumb??

There are three trucks that are used:
Weekly for automated collection of canned trash
Bi-monthly for recycling bins (different type of truck right now)
Monthly for heavy trash, which is split between tree limbs and trash, depending on the month.

As for why they split heavy trash, it is probably volume. They still have the same route, but they will pick up less because trash and tree limbs will be handled separately, so fewer trip to the landfill per truck per day.
