I've heard from my Houston connects (family/friends) that SW/Southside and most of SE Houston is pretty rough; particularly South Park, South Acres, etc. Then you have Northside, pockets of NW Houston (particularly Tidwell, Gulf Bank, Acres Homes, etc.) and NE that it goes down. I remember hearing of a Northside vs. Southside rivalry in Houston several years ago that involved some of the city's rappers.

The zip code for that area is 77060.

Houston Crime Maps | ZIP Code | 77060

One SE Houston zip code is 77087.

Houston Crime Maps | ZIP Code | 77087

SE Houston is certainly not safe.

The U of H area even beats them.
Greenspoint is still higher. So I guess all of north Houston is not safe.

XodoX, one ZIP =/= an entire quadrant of the city.

Yeah from what a friend born and raised in Houston told me, the rivalry was real at the time and at times it would turn pretty violent but he said that's all but dead. They made songs on the issue about it.

What's your point? Greenspoint is not an entire quadrant of the city either.

What's yours? That's right, you didn't have one.

You didn't even use a ZIP near UH to make your comparison. You're down by Gulfgate and South Park.

If you had read my post you would know. And the zip code 77004 does cover U of H. I'm sorry that you didn't get my obvious point, though. Jut read it again. You might be able to see it

Just stay out of the walmarts and targets in those lovely neighborhoods and you'll be safe.

I once forgot it was the 1st of the month, and stupidly walked into the walmart on Kirkwood off westheimer....
