There's also a Buffalo Wild Wings on 518 in west Pearland.

Don't get too excited about the WaterLights just yet. I drive by the site every day. I think something is up there. No noticeable construction has occurred in months. I'm worried the recession has affected it's completion date.

Of course, I might be wrong. But they've already changed the year part of the "Coming in XXXX" sign a couple of times since the groundbreaking.

Yeah you might get run over by a truck or hit by a meteorite or something. Stay in your safe room wrapped in bubble wrap.

... an oxymoron. :-) My sis-in-law used to live there and there is a fun outdoor ice-house (not too great in winter) near Beltway 8 and Broadway I think and a discount theater. If there was any actually top-notch night club with live entertainment it wasn't very noticeable.

Depends on what you're looking for. There is a discount theatre---a run-down place, but new movies for cheap ($4 or so I think). There is also cheap bowling near there. The icehouse bama_boy mentions is probably Scooter's, on Main. There are a bunch of places like that; small-town type beer joints like the Texas Corral Club on Broadway, where they have karaoke. These places I'm listing are all in east pearland, in the older area. If you want Buffalo Wild Wings and more corporate chain-type places, those are all over too, mostly on 518 toward the western part of the city.

As for top notch night clubs, I don't know of any. There aren't (as far as I know) any "see & be seen" or young hipster type places.

Sam's Boat has a an outdoor area where people drink and what not. Sometimes I hear live music while driving by. It's right by Buffalo Wild Wings off of 518. Other than that, not too much going on in Pearland.
