This is ridiculous. I am a very healthy person but I think this is going way too far.

I wouldn't want anyone telling me what to eat and what not to eat.

They're going to pass this. Then in about 10 years, they will realize it wasn't the trans fats that are bad, it's saturated fats. No wait, it's any fat. And then they might find that cholesterol, even the good kind is bad for you. And then they will say that any sodium or sugars are bad so they'll bad that too. And pretty soon, it will move to the protein and carbohydrates.

I guess we should all save them the trouble and become vegetarians? I am a meat lover to the bone (haha). And I think it's up to the individual on how and what they eat. You know...I think they should ban cigarettes and alcohol (shhh...i didn't say alcohol) before they put bans on our foods. There is NOTHING that cigarettes and alcohol (other than an occassional glass of wine every now and then) do for our bodies that's good. It destroys our lungs and liver. Wow, fantastic. Keep those within easy reach!! But god forbid I go to a nice restaurant for dinner and have a steak or nice piece of chicken with a lovely cream sauce on it!! Can't be having that! Sheesh.

But they won't bad cigarettes and alcohol because they get too much "Sin" tax from those. They would need to hit us hard in some other to make up for it if those were banned.

fat people should have to register, get inspected annually, have registration stickers on their foreheads and should have warning sounds when backing up.

why does it bother you if they remove disgusting items from menus?

shouldn't it be up to the restaurants if they want to serve disgusting items and up to people if they want to eat them? why does the government have to make these decisions for us?
