Hey all-

I'm moving from Virginia to Houston to go to grad school starting in August. Any ideas on safe, affordable (trying to stay under 700/month) apartments near the med center? I'll have a car but under a 10 minute drive would be nice. Any suggestions on fun hangout places, concerts, etc. would also be appreciated thanks!

Look for garage apartments, duplexes, fourplexes around Rice. Some are on Caigslist and some are on www.har.com under the lease section. There are apartments near the Dome that may be in your price range. Lots of kids your age hang out in the Village at Gingerman,Kays,Baker Street Pub,and places in midtown.
