How much have the housing values inside the 610 loop changed in the past year? I moved out last March and it looks like I may be getting transferred back later this year. Wondering how much difference there is in townhouses, say 3 bed 2 bath with 2 car garage. I thought Houston was relatively stable in the housing market. Comments?

Rice Military, Heights, Montrose, Midtown, River Oaks are places I'm considering.

I don't think there have been drastic reductions in that area for townhouses. Single family pricing has remained stable close in. Same prices, just a longer time on the market.

In the Heights they are definetely building some lower cost townhomes. They are not as cute and charming on the outside. I do not know what the inside or integrity of construction.

Parts of Rice Military are getting cheaper. I would say West of Feagan off of Durham area.

Good Luck!
