We just moved to the area and have been living in a hotel for the last 5 weeks. Our 4 kids are going crazy!

We need a townhouse/home/large apt in a safe area with excellent schools. (CCISD as well so that they don't have to transfer when we purchase.) Because of daycare & misc. other expenses, we don't want to pay more then $1400/mo.

We've been looking for weeks, but 3 BR's seem to be impossible to find right now or are out of our price range.

Do you guys have any recommendations?

You may check under har.com under rentals. You can put in the area, school district and your price range. That is how we found our house that we rent. Good luck.

realtor.com also has tons of rentals listed.

You might also contact a real estate office in the area (not an apartment search firm) and have them do the searching for you - they can look through the rentals they manage as well as the MLS. They generally will not charge you for this service; if it's not a property they manage, they will get a small commission for finding the renters.

Good luck.
