I have narrowed it down to these zipcodes when I buy a house what do you think of them. I am looking to buy a fixer upper & live in it for awhile.

I think 77087 is a fairly decent zip code. Nicer, older homes.

What are you looking for a a neighorhood? older, great price, proximity to certain areas, established neighbors, new - what draws you to those zips?

Here is an older post on 77087

I don't know much about the other two areas. I know 77087 isn't exactly Glenbrook and about 15 years ago was a reasonable place to live and was reasonably safe. It is an older area but how good or bad of a neighborhood it is now - I don't know. I'm hoping someone who lives in those areas will see your question and respond. I'm hoping the older post I put a link to earlier can help a bit with 77087.
