also sometimes in a vaulted ceiling area, the tape can looked pinched over time when the house settles a bit. My old house had some of those areas. and I never had a roof leak.
I had a leak where the water heater broke and leaked through
. and Yes it looks like a patch job, and I disclosed it on the sale. However, I showed the new owners the top of the line water heater, pan, and drain that I installed so that that type of event would never happen again. Yes it is hard to re texture a ceiling in a small area. You would have to have the whole ceiling redone.

. and Yes it looks like a patch job, and I disclosed it on the sale. However, I showed the new owners the top of the line water heater, pan, and drain that I installed so that that type of event would never happen again. Yes it is hard to re texture a ceiling in a small area. You would have to have the whole ceiling redone.
