Uh...they could be flying cockroaches instead.

I had them in my old apartment in Alvin. Not so much here.

And if you still think you have it bad, you could be these people (http://www.wctv.tv/APNews/headlines/27159149.html - broken link) in Utah.

We are having problems with silverfish too. They are hanging out in the linen closet in our masterbathroom a lot. They are always by our shower and bathtub. I don't understand and we have Home Team Pest Defense. We thought about changing our service to someone else because they are still here after several treatments.

We have been using Bengal Roach spray with nylar. You know, spraying the baseboards and places we have seen them in...quarenteed for 6 months...it has been very effective...sprayed one night and the next morning we found quite a few dead. We also bought these lil silverfish bait packages that contain boric acid and placed them in areas that they seem to migrate...it has been working so far...will keep our fingers crossed!

Lots of silverfish may mean the previous tenants didn't clean properly.

One or two silverfish will occasionally wander into your home here, and is no cause for concern. Tear off a toilet paper square, grab & flush.

No silverfish but over the last week, with the rain, we are suddenly overrun with earwigs in the house! Just had the pest company out this morning to treat for the little buggers. I had to call when I found one yesterday circling my coffee cup. Not what you want to wake up to

For us they did. I haven't seen a one since putting out the packets. We weren't infested...just saw them occasionally.

How can you tell if you have an infestation? When we first moved in I think I killed about 10 in 3 or 4 days. Since we have had pest control out, the number has been decreasing. About a week ago, saw a couple more and we had another pest control guy come out and spray and dust the attic. That was Saturday. I've seen one "ALIVE" since then.
