Cypress Demographics are predominately upper middle class, middle class in the older areas closer to FM 1960.

80% Anglo
15% Hispanic
3% African American
2% Asian

I'd recommend checking out Cypress, Klein, Champions, The Woodlands and Kingwood.

Default Good post I have the same problem.

Just moved here to west Houston,TX from another State not knowing anything about Houston and I must say that I've had a little trouble determining which residential areas (close to where I work which is just off Rogerdale Rd) are not primarily black or hispanic. Not that I don't mind a little diversity I just don't want to be the only white person in the Apartments. Not to mention buying a house if I stay here.

Anyway this post helps, I think the Galleria area or Sugarland will be ok, thanks for the info.

Do any of these towns fit that description:
Sugar Land

Westfield
The Woodlands
All of these places are predominantly white. The schools are roughly equal also. Hopefully you have other criteria to narrow down your decision.

Check out the NE side with Kingwood, Summerwood, Eagle Springs, Fall Creek. Kingwood has all the amenities.
