I have seen so many positive posts on the boards about both Eagle Springs and Fall Creek. We are currently renting in the Woodlands -- we LOVE it, but the commute is hard on the DH. (Currently works downtown, but may move to the IAH area. However, that may be MONTHS away.)

The reason we love the Woodlands is the proximity to good schools and tons of stuff for the kids to do, either through the YMCA or the Woodlands Community Association. Do Eagle Springs and Fall Creek have similar recreation, besides just the swim team? And is there still talk of another YMCA coming to the area?

ANY input from parents would be appreciated!

When we lived there there were always tons of activities for the kiddos! We lived in Eagle Springs for 5 years and are looking forward to relocating back there at the end of Spring.

There is a full time activities director for Eagle Springs that assures that there are plenty of things for the kids to do. Not to mention that I think the recreational facilities are some of the best in any of the Houston area master planned communities. Plus 59, right now anyways, provides the best commute times available from the burbs into downtown. I posted some youtube videos of eagle springs below.

Making me homesick Jamesww! We loved it when we lived there! Not quite sure why people are thinking there is a lot of rifraf from surrounding neighborhoods. We never experienced that though right before we moved all of our front porch items were stolen and that was lame! Over $100 worth of brand new stuff I had purchased for open houses. That could be from anything though.
