Hello Houstonians, Can you recommend a Toyota repair shop which will do regular maintenance on my car? I don't want to go to any dealers because I don't want to spend more that I should. I am looking for some mechanics who are knowledgeable, trust worthy and charge me a fair price (and preferably in northern part of the city). Thanks Y'all.

As far as maintenance goes, a Haynes or Chilton's manual, a basic set of tools, car ramps and a padded creeper is what you need.

In your part of town. Maybe this guy: Skeeter's Auto Service : Full Service Automotive Repair Shop : Cypress, Texas.
I hear him on the radio a lot and he gives pretty good advice. I have a real good guy on my side of town, but all i have done there is oil changes for my cars so far. My dad has done a lot of work with him and loves the guy, says he is fair and honest (strong Christian values).
But I can't give him up, since he is really good and busy. I don't want him to get too busy Yes I am selfish :P
