I may be working near the intersection of Clay Rd & 6. I'm not from Houston, so I need some help! My husband and I are in our late 20's/early 30's and do not have children (don't plan to have children either). Our price range is $150-$225. Where do you recommend we live? I don't want to commute more than about 25 minutes. Thanks!

Properties off Addicks (between the 6 and the 8, runs parallel), north of Clay are generally worth a look.
Try this website - Houston map search and Houston real estate map great for property searches.

Good luck.

I absolutely abhor the traffic up there (and I live near 610), and fail to see why anyone without kids would want to be over there unless they have to work there. But to each their own...I'd be staying away from 290 completely if it was me though.

Maybe a little more south into Spring Shadows. At least you'd be near all the things going on at Beltway and I-10.

I agree, 290 bites.
