I totally understand when you’re in the pressure of raising young children it’s really easy to get obsessed in the minutiae of percentage points and rankings. But please don’t miss the Forrest for the trees. Keep some perspective please. As your child nears 20 years old, like mine have, this will seem like a small thing to have stressed over. All those schools on your list have amazing rankings. That still won’t guarantee you don’t get a crabby 4th grade teacher, or a bully. Or that everything will be 100% perfect in the curriculum. Life is unpredictable like that. No matter how much you stress about the slight differences in these 3 schools.

I can’t agree with this more! All of the schools you are looking at are excellent, and I’m sure your kiddo will get a great education. Find the right house and neighborhood where you feel best and go with it. Good luck to you!

Lets face it, BHE's campus isn't much to look at. It looks and feels like an aging school. They do have a fantastic property though, and I bet the new building will make this a very up to date school and very attractive to all. I've not met another parent on the playground on weekends that did not love that school. We looked into buying into that elementary school however could not justify the cost of a house to do so. I think you'll be quite happy at Bunker Hill.
