Hey All,

Any recommendation for a reliable Car AC shop in Katy area. For the most part, my AC works fine but every once a while it stops blowing cold air and then after sometime starts to work again.

Thanks,

When we moved here the rec we got from a resident, born and raised resident of Katy. . . . Go to Smith's Auto Repair in downtown Katy. The dad turned his business over to his son but is still there in the shop doing metal working. We have used them for over a decade. They do honest estimates and don't go overboard, tell you up front just what needs doing and doesn't do more just to make a buck. We use them with all our auto needs unless it's body work. For that we go to Westside Chevrolet. Now I don't know much about A/C systems because we haven't had that problem but I bet you could call Smith Auto and if they can't help you they can refer you.

Be aware their parking lot is unpaved and always full. I guess that's a sign of a good business.
