Russo's in Meyerland is better than La Fresca. I love the folks at La Fresca and we get it pretty often for a big group, but Russo's and Napoli are better. They come close to my New York / New Haven pizza standards.

Food is the best medicine/supplement that goes with any treatment, so its better you skip it.

Imagine how much strain you are putting on your body to digest those many cals.

Good luck for your treatment.

My husband was diagnosed with cancer in 2015 and completed treatment last year. The advice we were given is to eat whatever your body can tolerate. My husband was told to ingest as many calories as possible. If the OP wants pizza, then go for it!

I love Reginelli's at 5303 Bissonnet. You can get all the usual toppings, but where they shine are the more inventive combinations, which I think varies by location.

That is an advice we get from every doctor we go and found it surprising.

When extremely healthy people are prescribed a diet, why should sick people eat "all they can tolerate" ?? Ironical isnt it?

Barry's Pizza on Richmond @ Fountainview is my favorite. Its just a little outside the loop. Get the thick crust.
