There used to be a website called homesnap.com

But they said HAR.com does not feed data to them anymore.

HAR.com does not display it for some reason

Any suggestions?

Texas is a non-disclosure state, and does not post actual sales prices. People must seek out realtors for the data. It also makes it more difficult to challenge tax assessments. That's why Texas is called a "business friendly" state. There is no benefit to the consumer.

You are looking only at the header with the current property value estimate. For the actual sold price you have to scroll down to the listing's activity history.

You need to sign up for an account and log in to Redfin to see sold prices. An account is free.

Yes, what Failed Engineer says, and also the last sold price is listed in the header too next to Estimate. My bad.

I also wish that the sale prices were public info. However, you might find it useful to do a "real property" search on hcad.org (hcad = Harris Country Appraisal District).

I think that each time a property is sold, they reset the valuation to the sales price. For each year thereafter, they update it to a value estimated using data for similar properties nearby. (If anyone wants to chime in on this, please do.)

This helped me massively, I have been looking for the same thing, I did find some sold prices on estately.com, but wasn't a fan of their interface.

Redfin is much better, yeah you have to sign-up, but its worth the hassle.
