Does it have crystal clear water in the lake or any rivers where you can swim?

I have no been in like 6 yrs the last time water was mostly clear and there is a smaller section that is roped off for swimming

I would say no more than 2 hours

I just came back from wimberly,tx. Crystal cleat water in the river and it was so refteshing. And free but it took me 3 hours to get there

Lake Conroe Houston and Livingston all should have swimming areas.

Huntsville is a nice park, and a great place to camp, but the water is not crystal clear. Crystal clear water is a rarity in this part of the state unless it's in a pool.
