Six great months, three hot but enjoyable months and three cold but not horrible months.

Plus, I can use my pool or go wakesurfing nine months out of the year with no wetsuit.

Only 3 bad months
In Missouri you have, starting in June
3 months of humid/heat, 2 months of tornadoes, 5 months of really cold weather and 2 months of tornadoes.

Default Houston has the worst weather in the country

The combination of heat and humidity makes it feel like hell on Earth.

I always imagined that there would be too much fire in hell for the presence of humidity to be possible.

Weather is one of the most subjective things there is. I HATED the weather in California because it never rained.

Agreed. Even if you bump up the bad months to 5, that's still 7 that are pretty good or great. My windows are generally open from November through February or March. I save money in the winter by not running the AC or heat.

Define "cold"? Are you using the native Houstonian "break out the furry boots when it drops under 80" definition?
