This thread from last week might have some good suggestions. Just keep in mind the big ones (Hermann Park, Kemah etc) are going to be super crowded.

Not necessarily duplicative.....the thread above really focuses only on smaller shows, since that was the specific question posed. Your query might get potentially different responses (besides my two) if you are open to the big ones.

We watch the fireworks from the grass and lake by the library. (Behind LaCenterra) Great views, grass is more comfy than concrete and an easier "out" when it's time to go (onto Westheimer parkway)

pearland,friendswood,clearlake and many other surrounding cities have their own fireworks. they aren't going to be drunks and drug usage going on there.

Rosenberg puts on a family event in the SW. Crowds and traffic aren't TOO horrible.

Galveston might not be that bad most of the island you should be able to see both one is at Watermens restaurant other is 37th and seawall
