Hey everyone,

So I'm going to move to Houston in August.

I am taking a trip next month to find an apartment, put down a deposit and just explore the city.

What is the best neighborhood for a single, 27 year old who wants to be near young professionals and a great night life?

My budget is 2000 a month.

I do not have a job now, but I make about 10k in unearned income due to a trust I inherited when I was 21. I plan on trying to get a job in my degree field of accounting.

Thanks for any help.

I'd add EaDo and Heights to the list as well. Lots of single young professionals in those areas too.
