Houston has been in news for some years about reality shows, most notably Love and HipHop Houston, Real Housewives of Houston, and Married to Medicine. Of course, these shows have fallen through. However, premiering on March 24 on WE tv, "Sisters in Law," will feature 6 black lawyers who will promote empowerment and have showmanship, which will have a different theme than the many reality TV shows out today. I think this is good publicity for the city.

The show looks pretty good. It's not just your basic look at me I'm rich show, it's about female lawyers of color helping the lowest people on the totem pole get legal representation. What's wrong with that? I thought it was going to be another show where some rich ladies parade around fighting over men and look catty. This one shows them arguing over cases and careers. Much better than half the trash reality shows out there.

I like this ideal........African Americans portrayed in a positive manner, compared to the trash thats been shown lately. Which really isn't reality.

I agree with the positive comments. There was a reason why Love and Hip Houston didn't air; the rappers didn't want that negative light.

Trash gets ratings. This show won't last unless someone's weave gets yanked off in court. It's just the world we live in.
