With so many people getting tattoos now, many of them are going to regret it sometime in the future and want it removed.
It's definitely in high demand and will only get bigger. I wonder how many tramp stamps will last the test of time.

Thanks for all the recommendations, I had my consult done at Dermatouch last week and decided to go with them. I had gotten pricing from some other places as well, they weren't the cheapest but I think the treatment package I got is a pretty good deal. They seem friendly and organized and explained the process and technology well.

The first treatment didn't hurt too bad. Now I'm just waiting for the first treatment to heal so I can see how well the ink breaks down. I guess in a few weeks I'll know how well it worked out.

If you don't mind me asking, why is the tattoo so bad that you are willing to go through the pain and cost of getting it removed? Is it an ex's name or something?

I guess people change as they get older. It's an artwork design that didn't turn out as well as I would have hoped at the time. That and I don't want this to be something that defines me to other people.

People spend money on sillier things. I'm allowed to change my mind.

Looks like Joe answered for me? Strange.

My reasoning is similar, life changes I guess. What I thought was cool in my early 20s, not so much anymore. Not incredibly bad, the tattoo but I'd rather not see it in the mirror anymore.

I have been researching about this http://www.webmd.com/skin-problems-a...tattoo-removal . Is laser tattoo removal safe?

What ever happened to that stuff they invented some years back where the ink is in microscopic capsules that you could eventually run a laser/device over that would break down the capsules, allowing the ink to escape and get absorbed into the blood stream or something? I guess that never took off.. Maybe they'll figure something out in the future thats easily reversible, but yeahh.. there will definitely be more than a few tramp stamps and what not needing to be removed in the foreseeable future.
