My parents live in Cross Creek with a Tri Pointe Home. I live in Weston Lakes with Partners in Building. Their home is about 5 years old - no issues really, but they did have to have some a/c work done already. My house, I've been in 3-ish years, and have had no issues. TPH is nice - and in my opinion their finishes are better than other builders in a similar price point. My Partners in Building house probably has nicer finishes, but for me the real advantage was being able to customize the floor plan/layout/outdoor living area, though that does come at a price.

From what I've heard, the schools in Fulshear are all really good. I assume Fulshear Run is very quiet, which is what I like about Weston Lakes. As for the Indian origin - I can't answer that, though I've found most people to seem friendly. You'd probably see more diversity in Cross Creek, and then certainly Katy

Agreed- my biggest gripe about my home is how close it is to the other houses. Acreage communities are great.

Financially, such communities don't make sense for developers in areas where land prices have adjusted for typical subdivision development. They only exceptions are if the developer charges super-high prices for lots and restricts homes to being expensive and fancy.
