Turn signals are a sign of weakness in Houston. You will be cut off if you use them.

Oh and be sure to drive around at night without any lights on. That's another favorite around here.

How Quickly did you manage to get a teat booked? Did you need anything other that your UK ID to get your Texas Drivers license? (ie, Social Security Card etc)

you need to do the online part first...takes quite a while.... few hours to do that...

then you have to go do an eye test...at test centre...showing all your documents at the same time

they will give you a date then to do actual driving test ( I had a five week wait)

5 weeks.... nice effort.... nothing happens quick hey! Is that because they had nothing earlier? Or because you were not as flexible due to work commitments etc?
