I'm not sure where this post office is. Is it inside the Loop or outside? The part of old Harrisburg that is inside the Loop, to me, is a hidden treasure. Gently rolling land in spots and near where the Buffalo and Brays bayous meets. People in Houston don't even realize that this is where Santa Ana burned the town of Harrisburg down and where the first railroad in Texas started as did the Ship Channel . The MetroRail link to Hobby...if it ever happens, could slide down Broadway through there, or might go down 75th instead. I've lived nearby for 13 years. It will yield easily eventually to townhouses, but we could be talking a decade or two. The other side of the Loop is what is typically called Manchester these days and that area will take forever to shift.
So yes, renting it might be a challenge but the area, if it's inside the Loop, is already on the way up now and nothing will change that momentum.
