Anyone know what is destined for the current land clearing at Katy Fort Bend Rd and Lakecrest Manor Dr (across Katy Fort Bend Rd from the new stadium site)?

It looks like a CVS will be at Katy Fort Bend Rd and Franz which is nice. A lot of current developments on Katy Fort Bend Rd.

Isn't it a sign for a gas station?

Not sure what is going there but, close by their will be a big shopping center. At the NE corner of I-10 and Katy-Ft bend road is going to be The Shoppes at Park West. The proposed tenants so far are Bed,Bath and Beyond, Buy Buy Baby, DSW, DXL, Kirklands, Petsupermarket, Outback steakhouse, Raising Canes, (kids excited) Pei Wei, (wife excited) and the mandatory 2 matress stores and some other restaurants. Really hoping for a Target.

No that was Linens and Things - they closed all their retail stores.

Still no idea but they are clearing a decent size tract of land. The developers website shows 16.07 acres for sale. Maybe they divided that tract of land in to smaller parcels. Hopefully it is not another gas station. Their are already 3 planned for that side of the road all within a 1/2 mile of each other.

Maybe it's the dreaded Wally world? J/K. But seriously some people would freak the F out if it was true.

Personally I wouldn't mind a Neighborhood Market. There is already a Walmart at Katy Mills, so you aren't getting away from them anyway. The convenience outweighes the sentiment that centers around the brand. The log actually seems the perfect size. Spourts would be even more welcome.
