I miss my favorite Thai place from back home, in College Station. I have been looking for a new one around the North Houston area for years now. We have tried a few places inside the Woodlands, but I have not been impressed. Any suggestions?

Thai Cottage - best Thai food I've ever had in the Houston area. I don't think there's one near the Woodlands though, but try the ones in Katy, Sugar Land, Pearland, and Webster.

I think the problem is the place back home was a combination of Thai and something else. So I may very well be looking for a flavor that can't be duplicated.

A really good thai restaurant, a 3/5 is really spicy here.

Best Thai food hands down for me and everyone else I've introduced it to: Kanomwan (off Telephone Rd.) The location is a bit shady but the crowd there is typically your corporate workers. Check. It. Out.

Thank you for all the suggestions. My favorite dish was garlic chicken, and I was wimpy, so I stuck to a 0-2 range. Their jasmine rice was so good.
