How is the neighborhood Shadow Creek Ranch? Good? Bad? Ugly? How about the schools? Some of it is in Alvin, so I'm wondering about that. Even the FBISD part...good? bad?

We like it, but we are on the eastern side of SCR. I'd stay on the Alvin side if you have kids. All of the elementary schools arevery good, the middle is also good, and they are building a new high school on the south side of 518. The FBISD side isn't zoned to very good schools. The builders have been promising an elementary school for the FB side for years, but there's no plans from the school district. Taxes and windstorm are high, so get some quotes and factor that in. The neighborhood is really diverse, and overall pretty quiet. Most people in our section work in the Med Center. Is there something specific you're concerned about or want to know about?
