We are moving to the Neartown Montrose area in a couple months. We are looking at apartments now and think we have decided on one by the HEB on Dunlavy. I have a 10 month little girl. Any daycare suggestions? I've read good things about The Country Day School, Montessori Downtown, and Montessori Medical Center. Does anyone have first hand experience with any of these? She will only be going part time for now.

St. Stephen's Episcopal is nearby where you will be living and offers a Montessori program starting at 15 months.

The good ones have long wait list. If she will every go full time you want to get her on a list now. Kipling and Esperanza are a couple of places that take babies.

I think it's best to drop the baby off near where you work, so that may open up the options. It's really hard to make it back to day care with traffic if you're working. Also, you can go and visit during lunch if you want.
