Boyfriend and I are kind of new to exploring Houston, even though we've been here for a decent amount of time. Can anyone tell us any date ideas around this area in Houston? We're both twenty, so no bars haha. Thanks.

If you can go a little further north to the Woodlands, their Waterway district has a lot of really nice restaurants (NOT chain restaurants, although I do love some chains), a cinema, a water taxi, and more. And it is primarily a pedestrian area. You can easily spend an evening walking around there.

-Jetskiing in Lake Houston
-Visit the National Museum of Funeral History
-Antiquing in Old Town Spring, doing a ghost tour, or attending their crawfish festival
-Get country dancing lessons at a honkytonk like Red River or Whiskey River
-Check out the Sunny Flea Market or Traders Village

-If you don't the distance, catch a movie at the Showboat Drive-In Theater near Tomball.

Hermann Park, Discovery Green, The Arboretum in Memorial Park. Driving through River Oaks can be fun looking at houses you will never be able to afford. Bingo in the Heights on Thursdays. Go see an Astros game. There are plenty of Museums to go to. Go drinking somewhere that does not card. The area you circled kind of sucks. Drive the extra 15minutes. The only thing there is up the Woodlands waterway area and that kind of blows.

Get some tall boys at a gas station and sit in the back of a pickup truck along the ship channel.

Careful Oildog - not everyone knows what a tall boy is and may take it literally!

Sorry, just noticed the red lines on your map. I originally said riding bikes at Terry Hershey Park. There may be a few bike trails around the Champion Forest area.

I know when I was in high school we would go to the airport and ride the tram around and people watch.
