Does anyone have any information regarding the new neighborhood currently going up on Falcon Landing in Katy called Marshall Oaks? Or on Emerald homes? I have contacted them but have not received a response yet. We were wondering about lot size and sq. ft. of the home plans....

The owners of the acreage next to Marshall Oaks finally sold. We were wondering if they sold to apartment developers but thank God they did NOT! Newquest bought the land and will be bringing tons of retail to the area. A Kroger Marketplace will be built, along with a theater, restaurants, banks, etc. Kroger is opening a "Marketplace" store not even 2-3 miles from this location...in fact once Gaston is extended until Spring Green, they will practically connect.

Not sure about that specific community. Emerald homes is the next level up of DR Horton.

Newquest is getting ready to begin work on this commercial property at the intersection of Falcon Landing and Gaston. I am happy that Newquest took the effort in making this a premier shopping center.

Starbucks, Whataburger, Raising Cains, Gringos, etc. Looks to be very promising.

Gringos is pretty good tex-mex, not that the area doesn't already have those options.
