Hey everyone,

I am thinking of moving from Orlando to either Houston or Atlanta and would like to get others' perspective on pros and cons of each city. I am aware of the humidity and heat in Houston and actually prefer the warmer weather. I have also heard that Atlanta is nicer as far as scenery. I am a female in my late 20s and I do have a social and active lifestyle. I have heard that the beaches in Texas do not compare to Florida beaches, but I do love being near the beach and lakes. Apart from bad traffic, could you give me an idea of which city would be best for a business career, economy, diversity, etc. Also, any suggestions on areas to live or avoid would be helpful as well. Thank you!!

When it comes to the economy and diversity then Houston has Atlanta beat. I would look at Clear Lake area.
