I don't have any experience with JC personally, but I know at least 6 couples, who send their children to JC.
All of them are looking for different schools for their teenagers. One family pulled their kids out already. I really don't know their all reasons, just what they told me. They feel that the school started to "slow down" (education), that they are more about the money, more prestige, not the learning.
JC is still one of the great schools, they just don't feel like it's worth the money. They definitely don't pay only tuition.
They told me, that JC was a great school years ago, not that great anymore. But I can't confirm any of that from my experience.
