I am relocating to Needville area from another suburb of H town and want to know everything i can find out about it! We have young children. Are the schools okay? Are there any activities for kids to do like football or cheerleading and dance? I can't find anything about Needville children activities. I would love to meet other moms also...What can I get involved in there so we can meet people? I would also like to find a home church where the families in Needville area go so my kids will be able to make friendships faster. Please help me!! Thanks!!!

I'm only going to speak on the parts of Needville that I know of. I haven't explored the whole town yet but the little that I do know of the town is good enough.

I grew up not too far away from the Needville area. Have you visited Needville yet? I wouldn't consider it the suburbs, more like the boonies. The closest REAL store (Walmart or Kroger) is at least a 20 min drive. Most of the lots that people buy out there are quite large, 5 or 10 plus acres. With that being said it may be a bike ride or a short walk to your neighbors house. If your like the country living you will love the Needville area.

I have a few friends that I occasionally visit out there and they love it. They all grew up out there but for some as soon as they got the opportunity to get out they left in a hurry. They do have a football team for youngsters if I remember correctly. I am unaware of cheerleading and dancing.
