He wants to rent where he can realistically buy, so SBISD south of the I-10 is out.

Is FBISD a long shot?? Keep in mind i own my house and assets in Mexico and would sell that once I am settled over here so I could buy a house around 250k but I am trying to keep my rental down in order to save money

As well as several neighborhoods that are physically between those two, with Richmond addresses. Convenient to Westchase and very popular with young families.

I don't remember all of the names, but basically the places all along the Grand Parkway/99... down from US 90 (by SugarLand) up to the Westpark (by south Katy).

From south to north approx: Old Orchard, Aliana, Waterview Estates, Waterside, Fieldstone, Long Meadow Farms, Bella Terra, Parkway Lakes, Lakemont. IMO, the ones further south (further from the Westpark Tollway and closer to Sugar Land) are generally safer as far as crime is concerned, maybe because they see less traffic coming in/out from Houston.

You could also look at Twin Lakes, Lakes on Eldridge, and Eldridge Park. I believe they are all zoned to Cy-Fair ISD. Safe communities and not far from Westchase.
