I am not saying any other community is bad so I am so sorry if it came out that way, what I am trying to show is the value you can get and why it would be beneficial. Compared to other communities, considering the floorplan the OP wanted they have those in a relatively good price range in PMR. I actually own several homes which we lease out but we decided to stay in our PMR home due to the size, location and I personally have benefited greatly from Cinco =)Like I said Fulshear is wonderful and Aliana could be if it wasnt so far out to close. I am just basing it on the rate of growth as it seemed that was the OP was concerned about reselling in the future. With so much land left in comparison to Katy, you are always best off going where it is near close out if you are considering reselling quickly. Truly nothing personal just sharing the benefits that I have found for our family !

Just sayin'.

Pine Mill Ranch is in a better location than Aliana as far as schools go. It does border Cinco Ranch, and it has a good variety of homes from 250K to over 500K. I really liked it when we visited. We drove around the 80 foot section and I was wowed. It had beautiful homes however but I was priced out of it already. They did not seem to have as much inventory as I would have liked. You can get more square footage for your money and the master planned community is small. Probably one section of Cinco Ranch is Pine Mill Ranch alone because Cinco Ranch is a huge community. I do like that there is an elementary school there.

Default I vote Cinco Ranch for resale value.

All of those neighborhoods are great, so any will work. That being said, Cinco has a national reputation as being a good neighborhood. The resale is better. So unless this is your forever home, I would pick Cinco.

I do think you should live closer to your work. Other burbs are just as good as Katy. Just my 2 cents.
