Take I-45 s until it turns into Broadway in Galveston just over the causeway. Stay on Broadway all the way until it ends into the intersection of Seawall Blvd. You will see the Gulf from there and Stewart Beach will be right in front of you.

This is total BS. A lot of people who live inland in Texas dis on Galveston, but Galveston is a better place to be than anywhere they are. They create this straw man argument, that it is somehow a competition between Galveston, and FLA, or Cali, or Hawaii. When in fact, if you were to have to spend any amount of time, in a place like Richmond Texas, and many others, you would pray to be able to snap your fingers and magically appear anywhere on Galveston Island, any time of the day.
Galveston Island, is a great place to enjoy a day trip, or weekend getaway

Make a trip over to Bolivar beaches are a lot less crowded also the west end of Galveston Island is nice to

None, they are all a dumb. Surfside is much nicer, but it is just a beach with nothing around it. Galveston is a complete dump.
