It is 10:29 AM, but you would think it was 10:29 PM. I don't think I've ever seen it so dark in all my years in Houston. Hopefully we won't have any flooding today!

I love this weather. Hopefully this rain event will lessen the drought. Stay indoors and you'll be fine.

Fills the pool and makes the veggies happy,so I'm good.

Getting this dark during storms used to happen a lot pre-2011 drought.

Agree with HTBU - it got dark! Raining sideways and wind feels like pre-hurricane. I stood in the front doorway of our downtown building to grab a smoke.
To hell with the Mayor and her "25 feet back from an entrance way".....

Just went outside to grab some food before the monsoon hits. It looks awfully dark and ominous. Brazoria county has issued a tornado warning.

The current mayor didn't institute that. Mayor White did. And people entering or leaving the building shouldn't have to inhale your smoke just to get to the office. If you want to smoke when it is raining buy a raincoat and umbrella.

daniepwils... you beat me to it. Getting ready to post the same thing. That law existed well before Mayor Parker. But some people get so fixated on hating that they don't really stop to think about what they're saying.

I like the rain,
I'm just sick and tired of being cold and all the idiots that are afraid of driving when it rains so they stay on the left lane but slow down to 45MPH
