Does anyone know where I can get help to unload moving truck and set up furniture without going through the major moving companies. I am moving to Missouri City and we are driving a penske truck but need help unloading when we get there. Any suggestions would be helpful please. Thank you.

Aside from friends & family, go to your local Home Depot and pick up a day laborer. Just pay him fairly.

If you go through day laborer, be careful of theft and damages to furniture.

Uhaul offers a service called moving help, just google it. My previous employer has moved me all over the country and have used them every time.
